Mixology opens up a whole new world to the drinking experience. Rather than just smelling and tasting, you are actually impacting and affecting what you drink, when you make a cocktail. The problem of course is that we are not all trained bartenders, but that shouldn’t keep you from making a few very good, very fun drinks. In this interactive seminar, Nick Taylor of Taylor & Taylor Whiskey Co., will take you through a little bit of the history of cocktails and then teach you the fundamentals of making a good drink. At the end of this seminar, you will not only know how to make several excellent tasting cocktails, but you will also understand a few basic ideas that will allow you to make better drinks going forward.
There will be rum, bourbon and Japanese whisky-based cocktails featured.
