When you think of Asian spirits, Sake is likely the first thing to come to mind, and with good reason. Sake has been produced in Japan since about 715 AD. 1200 years is a long time to cement a reputation, but Asia is more than Japan, and the diverse brews and distillates made on Earth’s largest and most populous continent easily rival those of the West. Join us on Thursday, May 23 as we sample just some of what the Far East has to offer by way of libations. Russian Vodka, Indian & Japanese Whiskey, Philippine Rum, and of course, beers, Shochu and Sake.
