From his eclectic collection of whimsical pigs to his many Pork Producers’ Taste of Elegance Awards, it’s obvious that Chef Oakley is a pig enthusiast and a master at creating succulent pork dishes. Breaking from our normal Signature Dinner format, here’s how our Pig Roast and Rosé Tasting will flow:
$95/person (plus tax & gratuity)
All day long, Chef Steve and his Kitchen Crew will be preparing, dressing and roasting a whole pig right outside the bistro’s back door.
- Guests will show up at 5:30pm for an extended Reception during which Chris Hopkins and her Waitstaff will pass abundant hors d’oeuvres and pour Cloud Chaser Rosé Côtes de Provence. Guests will visit Allison Henricks and Gary Hulseman of RNDC at Tasting Tables to sample and purchase Old and New World Rosés (wines listed below).
- Call to dinner will be to Communal Tables (explained below) where guests will pass family style heaping bowls and platters of succulent roasted pork and perfectly paired sides and salads all accompanied with Acrobat Rosé from Oregon. And of course, there will be a “Sweet” Dessert matched with Huber Stella di Luce “Dry” Rosé.
