Cabernet Sauvignon is the grape that put California on the international Wine map long ago when a bottle of Stag’s Leap Cabernet Sauvignon beat many higher priced Bordeaux in a blind tasting by French judges. The French were embarrassed, we were thrilled.
Cabernet Sauvignons have been my favorite wines for quite some time, going all the way back to high school (the drinking age was younger then)
We’ll taste one Cab. from Paso Robles, one from the Central Coast, another from the North Coast, one California appellation and one from Horse Heaven Hills in Washington.
Price is $20. Please call or see the front desk to place reservations. 802 253-5742. Doors open @ 4:00. I suggest you arrive no later than 5:00 to avoid feeling rushed. People come and go during the tasting which is an informal walk around format. We end at 6:00
