Held continuously since 1873, the 147th annual Bennett Valley Picnic will be held from Noon to 4:00 PM on Sunday June 2rd at the Bennett Valley Guild, 4145 Grange Rd, Santa Rosa, CA 95404. It's fun for the whole family and is open to the public.
$15 for adults, $10 for children under 16 - We will again have yummy BBQ'd Mary's Chicken, Tom's special recipe homemade bean, salads, sides, and homemade desserts. Tickets are only available at the event.
Ricardo's Bar & Grill will also have Beer & Wine available for purchase.
We'll also have the 9th Annual Cherry Pit Spitting Contest - Noon to 2:00 PM, Plus a Silent Auction, Noon to 2:00 PM, featuring wine, gift certificates, food, and other items donated by our generous sponsors.
This year we will again be featuring live music from The Bohemian Highway, the unforgettable Sonoma Co. band led by veteran singer-songwriter Doug Blumer and Nancy Irish. They perform their original Americana and folk-rock songs with tight harmony, ringing guitars and great arrangements.
Through all its years our organization was, and continues to be, community-oriented. This annual event is also a fundraiser for the restoration of the building and grounds. Come to the picnic and see the work that's already been done.
Come enjoy a good old fashioned picnic with friends and neighbors at the beautiful location of the hall built back in 1873.
