This Summer Solstice Beer Dinner will highlight and celebrate the flavors of summer time in this 4 course dinner, in which each course will be paired perfectly with a Devils Backbone beer.
Course 1 - Local Cheese & Charcuterie Board - Served with house made pub mustard, raspberry preserves, cornichons, marcona almonds, dried fruit, and garlic herb crostini. Paired with Schwartz Bier.
Course 2 - Roquefort Pear Salad - Mixed greens tossed with Pear Lager Vinaigrette. Topped with Asian pears, smoky bacon, green onions, toasted walnuts, and Roquefort cheese. Paired with Pear Lager.
Course 3 - Cedar Plank Salmon - Grilled on cedar plank and glazed with local red pepper jelly. Served over saffron-lemongrass rice with grilled summer vegetables. Paired with Striped Bass Pale Ale.
Course 4 - Key Lime Pie - House made graham cracker crust filled with zippy key lime filling, garnished with raspberry Melba and topped with whipped cream. Paired with Wine barrel-aged Glitter Bomb.
