On Friday, March 22, 2019 at 4 p.m., Equine and Wines will break ground and begin cultivating the 21,000 acres that will become a vineyard co-operative and state-of-the-art equestrian facility. This event will celebrate the opening of what’s hoped to become an incredible community with organic agriculture and hundreds of acres of vineyards, featuring an equestrian center, in Cochise County that uses off-the-grid power technologies. The project is led by Tom Heshion, paired with Viticulturist Dan Fischl, and Doug Frost, Master Sommelier and America’s eighth Master of Wine.
The Equine and Wines Ground Breaking Ceremony is a public event. Both the media and those interested in learning more about this investment opportunity are welcome to attend, especially those involved with or interested in Arizona’s wine, equine, or real estate communities.
Directions: The event will take place in Tombstone, Arizona at the Main Gate of the property, which is located at the 6 1/2 mile marker on Davis Road. From Tombstone, head East on AZ-80 E/E Fremont Street, turn left onto Davis Road, and 6.5 miles down, the destination will be on the left. GPS Coordinates are 31°39'23.3"N 109°56'04.2"W.
