Celebrate Spring and the promise of great new vintages with us. We’re craving lighter, crisper, Spring-style wines as the season changes and the weather teases us with warmer days. We’ll taste three wines from the Loire Valley in France and another from Austria and enjoy a Spring-themed cheese plate.
While tasting, we’ll follow the life cycle of the vineyard from budbreak to winter dormancy through a personal picture journey in the field and talk about what it takes to go from vine to wine. We'll discuss the work and decisions made by the vineyard manager and winemaker during the grape growing process and how weather, diseases and pests affect the fall harvest and the wine you drink.
