Once a year bud break takes place in the vineyard.
It's one of the most spectacular moments of the year!
UPDATE: Due to possible rain and thunderstorms the event has been POSTPONED to Wednesday April 3.
This new date includes COMPLIMENTARY WINE TASTING and FOOD provided by Wise Villa Winery. All attendees MUST RSVP with this link: https://www.wisevillawinery.com/vineyard-photo-day-2019
Grab your camera, paintbrush, or video camera, a glass of wine, and come join us! This is your chance to capture a truly unique and special occurrence at Wise Villa Winery. During bud break our grapes begin their annual growth cycle. Tiny buds on the vine start to swell and eventually begin to grow shoots from the buds. The shoots sprout tiny leaves that begin the photosynthesis process.
