WHAT: Enjoy the screening of the award-winning documentary, A Fine Line, which chronicles the challenges faced by female chefs in the male-dominated culinary industry. The timely documentary explores why less than 7% of head chefs and restaurant owners are women, while addressing important issues about equality in the culinary field, and beyond. The screening will take place during Women’s History Month at MacRostie Winery and Vineyards in Healdsburg, and will honor Katina and Kyle Connaughton, owners of 3-Michelin Star restaurant Single Thread, and MacRostie Winemaker Heidi Bridenhagen.
The evening will begin with a wine and hors d'oeuvres reception and conclude in a panel Q&A after the film screening. The evening will spotlight women restaurateurs, chefs, winemakers, farmers and food activists while engaging in inspiring conversations about diversity, women leadership, and making a meaningful impact.

DETAILS: At 6:00pm, the evening begins with a wine reception with mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres. Wines will be provided by MacRostie Winery and Vineyards in Sonoma.
At 7:00pm, there will be a screening of the award-winning film, A Fine Line.
At 8:30pm, there will be a post-screening panel Q&A. Filmmaker Joanna James will lead an inspiring discussion on local sustainable agriculture and creativity with the evening’s honorees: Single Thread Owners Katina and Kyle Connaughton and MacRostie Winemaker Heidi Bridenhagen.
