Tasting (walk around)     Weekly Event     Wine

Some pretty cool wines open to sample during this weekend’s tastings, all a very cool mix/match best price savings!  Join us from 3-7pm Friday and noon-4pm Saturday to sample:

Josef Bauer Riesling Feuersbrunn 2017 – A dry, snappy, fresh and DRY 91 point Riesling from one of Austria’s top regions for this great, under-appreciated, varietal.

Dom Treuillet Sauvignon Blanc Loire Magali 2016 – From vines growing just outside Pouilly Fuisse, this is fabulous value in French Sauvignon with generous fruit and a savory gunflint accent.

Ch Lescalle Bordeaux 2015 - Great vintages mean great opportunities in the "value" slice of Bordeaux like this beauty. About  65% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% each Cab Franc and Petit Verdot with plenty of ripeness here and classic notes of cedar and graphite.

Pratesi Barco Reale di Carmignano Locorosso 2017 – A great alternative for Chianti Classico or Super Tuscan reds at a super, $14.98, best price. Great value in Wine Spectator 91 point Sangiovese/Cab.

Terre Nere Etna Rosso Guardiola 2016 (pending availability – very limited) – Explore the glories of Nerello Mascalese from Sicily’s Mt. Etna in this double 92 point (WS and WA) beauty.

As always, we’ll have some treats from the cheese case out to sample with the wines and best savings prices available on mix/match basis during the tasting.  Join us!
