A very special wine-tasting and seminar covering the origins of wine to the present
Sat., April 6, 5-6:30pm, advanced reservations only, $80
This presentation will cover the history of civilization from the Fertile Crescent to the present, paired with 10 wines related to key historical mileposts, including:
- wine from Armenia (the site of the earliest known winery dating to 4000 BCE),
- wine from the Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru (the Burgundy vineyard associated with King Charlemagne), and
- Chianti Classico made by a producer whose family has been producing wine since 1385. and lots more.
