Cost: $35 to attend the food and wine reception, film screening, and Q&A. $18 to attend the film screening and Q&A only. Tickets available at Eventbrite: https://bit.ly/2tKCmN7. The food and wine reception is for ages 21+.

Enjoy the screening of the award-winning documentary, A Fine Line, which chronicles the challenges faced by female chefs in the male-dominated culinary industry. The timely documentary explores why less than 7% of head chefs and restaurant owners are women, while addressing important issues about equality in the culinary field, and beyond. The screening will take place during Women’s History Month, and will honor Savannah’s very own Mashama Bailey, chef and co-owner of The Grey. The evening will begin with a food and wine reception and conclude in a panel Q&A after the film screening.

At 6pm, the evening begins with a wine reception with mouthwatering hors d'oeuvres featuring Savannah’s Top Chefs. Wines will be provided by Markham Vineyards in Napa Valley and MacRostie Winery and Vineyards in Sonoma.

At 7pm, there will be a screening of the award-winning film, A Fine Line, across the street at The Historic Savannah Theatre at 222 Bull Street (Chippewa Square).

At 8:30pm, there will be a post-screening panel Q&A featuring local star chef Mashama Bailey and Filmmaker Joanna James.
