We have a limited number of places still available for this June's Jazz Festival in St. Emilion, but we have to confirm them this week!

Join us on this eight-night, nine-day journey through the vineyards of the Bordeaux region, visiting some of the finest wine producers and including the fabulous experience of the Festival du Jazz of St. Emilion!

Enjoy luxury accommodation, gourmet meals and the special visits we have become famous for over the past 25 years. Personally led by Peter Smith, who shares the friendships he has made over the years with winery owners and workers, and is a long-time member of the Jurade of St. Emilion, the winemakers' brotherhood, who are also sponsors of the Jazz Festival.

The tour begins or ends with our favorite wine-country jazz festival, which this year coincides with the 20th anniversary celebration of the listing of St. Emilion as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the first vineyards in the world to gain this recognition. Small, intimate, and deep-rooted in the wine community of the village, the jazz festival is one of the "best kept secrets" of the jazz calendar.

Apart from the nightly performances on the main stage – located in the intimate setting and awesome natural acoustics of the dry moat of the walled mediaeval city – there are multiple special performances around the village, and in several wineries. Plus, from noon to midnight every day there is a free concert in the park open to the public, featuring a wide range of jazz (and other) music, including both up and coming and well-known artists.

Since its inception in 2012, this stage has seen the likes of Chick Corea, Earth Wind & Fire, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Marcus Miller, Jean-Luc Ponty with Kyle Eastwood, Stephane Belmondo, Tom Ibarra, Maceo Parker, and many others. It is friendly, low-key yet exciting music experience where you feel part of the village as much as part of the music, and with the UNESCO celebration this year promises to be even more special than ever!

Join us for a week of touring Bordeaux's top vineyards either before or after the weekend festival! An intimate group of only 6 guests, personally led by Peter Smith.
