Spain is a country with a long list of positive qualities, not least being their ability to produce excellent and interesting wines. In the Spanish Wines Lab students will have the opportunity to taste wines from both the historically popular and lesser-known regions. We will discuss how the grape, climate and winemaking choices influence each region’s wine style. During the class we will taste:

Rioja Gran Reserva
Priorat Red Blend
Mencía from Bierzo
Rosé from Navarra
White Blend from Txakolina, Basque country
White Blend from Rioja
