Join Chicago-based meal kit company, Home Chef, on their mission to solve the "Whats For Dinner" question once and for all! Starting March 1st, the meal kit delivery service will embark on a National Food Truck Tour to promote the company's kits entering over 700 grocery stores with the Kroger Family including 43 Chicagoland Mariano's locations. The official launch on March 1st will kick off with the help of Julianna Zobrist at the Wheaton Mariano's location.
The Home Chef Food Truck will hit 20 cities nationwide starting with the Wheaton Mariano's location on March 1st. Julianna will join Home Chef for the kick-off to share some of her favorite meal prep tricks and tips. The meal kits include fresh, pre-portioned ingredients and recipes created by professional chefs that are easy to prepare and guaranteed to delight everyone around the table. Weekly rotating menus include meals like Ginger Steak and Peppers, Roasted Red Pepper Chicken, and Pork Chops with Garlic-Butter Mushrooms.
Post For Charity! As a bonus, for every photo posted to social media from the Home Chef food truck using #dinnertonight @RealHomeChef between March 1st and August 18th, Home Chef will donate one meal to Feeding America, the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization to help serve communities in need. Home Chef is committed to donating up to 100,000 meals.
