Stretching from the Andes to Patagonia, Argentina’s unique terroir lends to high quality wines. Formerly associated with inexpensive bulk wine but dramatically shifting focus from quantity to quality, Argentina is now the most important wine-producing country in South America. Join us as we taste handcrafted wines made by small and passionate grape growers practicing sustainable viticulture for generations!

1:Clara Benegas Chardonnay   $14.99

A crisp, unoaked chardonnay with a hint of Sauvignon Blanc coming from the cold region of Mendoza in the Uco Valley. Clear and bright with greenish hues. On the nose it is fragrant and elegant with fresh citrus aromas as well as fruit such as passion fruit, pineapple and white pear. Soft on the mouth with gentle acidity and a marked, pleasant aftertaste.

2. Finca Quara Felix Torrontes     $9.99

Finca Quara wines are produced by Felix Lavaque who boast a 140 year history and 5 generations of winemakers.  They were the first to plant noble vines in Cafayate, Salta – location of the highest altitude vineyards in the world!

3.Henry Lagarde Malbec   $14.99

Intense scarlet red color. Persistent and complex aromas of ripe red fruit, jams, caramel, cocoa and vanilla. Excellent balance and good body. sweet and rounded tannins, long and persistent.

4. H.Canale Intimo Family Reserve     $16.99

Intense garnet color, with purple nuances. On the nose, the ripe red berry notes complement subtle hints of vanilla and coconut, thanks to the careful oak ageing. This limited edition wine starts with the careful selection of grapes produced in 70-year old vineyards. The careful crafting of the wine is finalized with oak ageing in new French and Central European casks for 12 months.

5.Bodega El Porvenir Laborum Single Vineyard Tannat   $29.99

 Floral notes as well as dark fruit with predominant blueberry and spices, and subtle aromas of smoke. Lots of fruit, middle to high structure due to the firm but velvety tannins. Long and persistent finish.

Wines will be accompanied by a selection of cheeses, crackers, artisanal breads &olive oil. The cost for one flight (a sample of each of the wines) will be $15.
