Join us every Saturday at our new time from 2-5 pm for a complimentary wine tasting featuring samples from our favorite local vendors.
We are continuing with our Italian Wine Series (these are actually all Sicilian wines but sshhh! Don't tell the Italians so!) and we will be tasting Sicilian grape varietals across the board with producer, Vento di Mare. Come join us from 2 to 5 pm on Saturday!
We will be tasting:
Vento di Mare Pinot Grigio
With some potential springtime temperatures on Saturday - This classic guzzler might be in the cards!
Vento di Mare Grillo
This grape is grown on the "sunny side" of Sicily. See if you can taste the tropical fruit notes that the sun imparts on this wine.
Vento di Mare Nero D'Avola
Nero D'Avola is considered the king of Sicilian red grapes - this wine is fresh and a touch lighter than the heavy, rustic wines of Italy.
Vento di Mare Nerello Mascalese
Nerello refers to the "little black one" which one would see when the grapes are fully ripe on the vine. See if you can find a hint of spice in this wine!
