We are thrilled to announce our first wine dinner of 2019, which will feature the award-winning Gavalas Winery. On Tuesday, February 19th, we are honored to host owner and fourth generation wine-maker, George Gavalas, as he leads us on a 6-course journey through his personal vineyard selections.
Gavalas is one of the oldest wineries in Santorini. Four generations of the family have vinified the Assyrtiko, Aidani, Mandilaria and Mavrotragano varietals as well as the rare Katsano and Voudomato; seeking “to highlight the particular characteristics of Santorini’s terroir”. They have accrued over 2,000 awards across just 10 labels. Tickets for the dinner are $86 per guest (tax & gratuity not included).
Please note that due to the growth and increasing interest in Kipos wine dinners we are changing reservation times to 6:15pm with first course being served promptly at 6:30pm. As always in the true spirit of a Greek feast centered around sharing all seating for the wine dinner will be community style (if requested, groups will be seated together).
