Mark your calendars for a special evening at the winery on Friday, March 15th (6-7:30pm), and join our winemaker, Noah Fox Reed, for an educational oak seminar. We’ll also have light hors d’oeuvres and chocolate pairing for you to enjoy.
Explore both the history of oak and wine production, and current examples of how barrels affect and interact with red wine.
Taste several barrel samples from at least two different varieties and learn first-hand how different oak species, sourcing and toasting interact throughout ageing.
The tasting will be accompanied by a light snack and chocolate pairing. Further details will be forthcoming.
