Twenty five years ago we started our little group. Along the way, we have had 224 dinners at 42 different restaurants, plus 16 trips, three picnics and three gatherings at member's houses.
This year, our first dinner will feature Bouchaine Vineyards of Carneros. We visited Bouchaine as part of our 2016 Caravan to Carneros, and finally got them to agree to a dinner. Brian Allard, Director of their Direct to Consumer business, will be our speaker. The wines we will be pouring include two Pinot Noirs from the same vintage and same vineyard, but different clonal selections, poured side-by-side for your comparison.
The dinner will be held at Dana's in Danville. Chef Michael Garcia has a different take on the menu this time around, and we are sure you will enjoy it.
