Malbec is most internationally recognized for the dark full flavored reds from Argentina. Malbec is native of south west France (known there as Cot) where the profile is more rustic and distinctively French. Varietal exploration in Washington State has led to plantings that have yielded excellent domestic Malbec wines. In this tasting we will feature a tasting flight to compare the styles of Malbec from these distinctive growing regions and compare the varietal character of Malbec.
