Israel- a country that’s rich in wine history, yet its wines remain largely misunderstood and underappreciated by the U.S. market. Stop by, taste a few of our favorites and find out why you should be paying more attention to Israeli wine.

Wines:

1.Gilgal Chardonnay   2016  $21.99

A nose of grapefruit and lemon with a hint of thyme sets the stage for flavors of lemon-lime, pineapple, vanilla and white flowers. This wine is bright from first sip until lingering citrus finish.

2. Mount Hermon White 2016  $14.99- The Wildcard!

A well-balanced white wine, the pleasing Yarden Mount Hermon White shows great energy on the palate. The wine's ripe apple flavors, smooth textures, and bright finish make it a versatile food-pairing wine.

3. Gilgal Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot  2014   $19.99

The  Gilgal  Cabernet-Merlot presents pleasing raspberry and cherry fruit notes, along with attractive characters of spice, tobacco and orange blossoms.

4. Mount Hermon Indigo   2016 $14.99

The Mount Hermon Indigo opens with aromatic ripe plum and berry notes rounded out with hints of spice and cocoa. This medium-bodied wine is pleasingly flavorful and very drinkable.

5.Dalton Cabernet Sauvignon 2017   $30.99

This wine has a nose of raspberry and fennel bulb. It offers pomegranate, cherry, orange zest, juniper and licorice flavors.

Wines will be accompanied by a selection of cheeses, crackers, artisanal breads &olive oil. The cost for one flight (a sample of each of the wines) will be $15.
