Are you passionate about Pinot? Want to learn more about the “heartbreak” grape and the traditional favorite wine that pairs so well with your holiday fare? If yes, then we would like to have you join us on Saturday, December 15, from 3-5:00p in Meritage’s private Cellar Room for a very special and informative seminar on “A Trifecta of Pinot Noir: Burgundy, California & Oregon.”
You will come to understand why, perhaps more than any other varietal, this thin-skinned, temperamental grape is able to capture and reflect the unique characteristics of its individual site.
Guests will compare and contrast seven distinctive Pinot Noirs from Burgundy, California and Oregon. They will be tasted in two flights of three with a final blind tasting of one wine to see if you can identify the wine’s true origin. The wines will be paired with cheeses and accompaniments that bring out the very best of both!

Class size is limited to 14 guests. Kindly arrive 5 - 10 minutes early as the session starts promptly. If you are sensitive to cool temperatures, bring a light sweater as the room is set to 70°F. There is ample parking in the RSF Plaza Shopping Center where Meritage is located.
