The Stan Martinelli Project is a group that aims to explore multiple genres by freely altering it’s overall instrumentation. One night you might encounter a smooth jazz trio, whereas another you will find a classical quintet. The group is lead by bassist Stan Martinelli. Stan is a musician with a deep love of music from various genres. With experience performing country to jazz, he hopes to add his unique style to the Rochester scene. Stan will be joined by Brad Batz (woodwinds) and John Montgomery (vibraphone) at Via Girasole. Brad Batz performs regularly and teaches jazz studies at Nazareth College. John Montgomery is also an accomplished performer who teaches in the Greece school district. Please join the Project for an evening of jazz tunes ranging from standards to pop covers.
