We're very excited to announce our next winery dinner with Chef Erin Sealy at Escondido's own, BK Cellars! We're planning a fantastic event featuring locally crafted wines and thoughtful cuisine. We'll be pouring five different wines from BK Cellars during an evening of fabulous food, wonderful wine and interesting insights, all among the wine filled barrels. BK Cellars Winemaker, Joe Ames will be joining us for this special evening to discuss what it takes to craft an urban winery, as well as specific discussion on each wine. The seated dinner will consist of 5-courses, featuring some of the core wines that have put BK Cellars on the map, as well as some new releases! Chef Erin has crafted a harvest themed menu to herald the holiday season. This will be a wonderful night of wine and cuisine that you won't want to miss!
Each selection will be paired with its own wine inspired dinner course, prepared by Chef Erin Sealy. Chef Erin specializes in pairing food with wine, with a slightly different approach than most. Prior to creating a menu, each wine is tasted and reviewed and then she creates a food pairing, highlighting the nuances of each wine. This concept creates a dinner and pairing experience with layers of complexity and unique creations which exemplify the enjoyment of each wine. With a passion for food and wine, Chef Erin delights attendees with a detailed account of the pairing concept and cooking techniques that create each course.
