Match Restaurant & Lounge Debuts Mulled Wines & Warm Winter Drinks Event

As the weather cools down in the valley of the sun, things are heating at up Match Restaurant and Lounge with the debut of the Mulled Wines and Warm Winter Drinks pairing dinner that is certain to warm the soul. The five-course menu is $65 per person (not including tax and gratuity) and features the following:
- Course 1: Cider and Maple Braised Pork and apple salad with cardamom vinaigrette paired with Dry Red Cabernet mulled with apple cider, maple syrup, whole cranberries, orange, apple, cinnamon sticks, star anise, vanilla bean, cardamom, and whole cloves
- Course 2: Red Chili Crab Cake served with dry chardonnay mulled with apple cider, honey, whole cranberries, orange, cinnamon sticks, vanilla bean, and ginger
- Course 3: Orange Peel Duck Breast with leek pancake and “super” syrup complemented by red wine zinfandel mulled with orange peel, brandy, cloves, honey, cinnamon sticks, and ginger
- Course 4: Fall Turkey with blushed green apple puree paired with Gewurztraminer mulled with apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla bean, and green apples
- Course 5: Rum “Float” with smoked bourbon ice cream served with hot buttered rum featuring ground cinnamon, dark rum, ground cloves, nutmeg, unsalted butter, and brown sugar
