Napa Valley is often viewed as a whole, a place that is famous for producing powerful Cabernet Sauvignon and rich Chardonnay. While there is no disputing this it would be doing the region and its varied AVAs a dishonor to leave it at that. Join us on Wednesday, November 7th for a seminar on Howell Mountain wines. Howell Mountain, an AVA within the Napa Valley since 1983, covers an area of roughly 14,000 acres that sit at 1,400 feet above sea level. This elevation, along with dry and rocky soil conditions help to create balanced and structured wines, varietal intensity and the potential to age for years. During the seminar we will taste six wines:
