PARKING ~ FREE & PAID
Valet parking is available for $8.00. The drop-off point is two doors south of our entrance in front of Shakespeare at the corner of India and Winder. On-street parking is also usually available within a 3-block radius. Remember that it’s OK to park in yellow commercial zones after 6:00 and that meters are also free after 6:00. You can also park in the lot behind Shakespeare Pub two doors down, but do not park in El Indio's lot unless you want your car towed! If you can’t find parking next to the restaurant, there’s always lots of parking on San Diego Avenue and the adjacent side streets just past the Chevron station across Washington Street. So please don't drive yourself crazy endlessly going around in circles waiting to pounce on that perfect spot when there's tons of parking less than three blocks away!

WINE NOTES & BOTTLE PRICES
2017 Daou Chardonnay ~ $17
(Paso Robles) Winemaker's Notes: Floral and fragrant with a beautiful nose offering an abundance of pear and white peach aromas, fresh vanilla bean crème brulee, and star jasmine. Secondary layers reveal pineapple, papaya and crushed filberts, with nutmeg and lemon zest accents. Vibrant and zesty on the palate while maintaining its lush silkiness and voluptuous, mouth-filling texture. Bright tropical fruit flavors of mango, pineapple and kiwi, laced with hazelnut and honeysuckle, as well as subtle hints of banana cream pie. Clean and persistent on the finish, creamy and rich with Asian pear, citrus and vanilla, this delightful wine becomes a truly memorable experience.

2016 Bodegas Borsao Blanco ~ $9
(Spain) 50% Chardonnay + 50% Macabeo. Winemaker's Notes: Straw yellow color. Has strong citric and tropical fruit aromas. In the mouth it’s creamy and fresh, in perfect harmony with the acidity.

2015 Tridente Tempranillo ~ $17
(Spain) Winemaker's Notes: Deep purple to the edge, aromas of toasty oak, graphite, balsamic, incense, and black fruits are followed by a dense, powerful Tempranillo. Rich, powerful and voluminous on the attack, a huge mouthful of crème-de-cassis concentration, silken and juicy in the mid palate with excellent length and persistence.

2016 Daou "Pessimist" Red Blend ~ $21
(Paso Robles) Winemaker's Notes: 54% Petit Sirah, 27% Syrah + 19% Zinfandel. Intense red fruit aromas of cherry, raspberry and rhubarb are complemented by an undercurrent of blue and black fruits; blueberry, blackberry and plum. Accompanying them are mushroom and allspice notes, accented with chocolate and hints of toffee and vanilla. Bright and vibrant on the palate, flavors of cherry, cranberry and pomegranate dance on the tongue. A silky texture coupled with a lovely cinnamon spiciness produces a memorable, mouthwatering sensorial experience. Multilayered and complex, with an extraordinary combination of harmonious flavors and aromas, this wine delivers in exquisite fashion, and the finish is long enough for one to ponder the depth and complexity of the sensations the wine offers.

2016 Rombauer Cabernet Sauvignon ~ $58
(Napa Valley) Winemaker's Notes: 87% Cabernet Sauvignon,8% Petit Verdot + 5% Cabernet Franc. This wine is vibrant dark purple with a fuchsia rim. The nose is expressive, with aromas of red fruit, cassis and toast. The wine is full-bodied, packed with flavors of boysenberry, raspberry and black cherry, along with notes of sweet tobacco, cedar and vanilla. Supple tannins carry through to a lingering finish.

2015 Robert Craig "Gap's Crown" Chardonnay ~ $44
(Sonoma) Winemaker's Notes: 100% Chardonnay. This wine offers up bright fruit aromas of citrus, fresh apple, pear and white peach along with hints of warm brioche and baking spice, with subtle floral notes on the finish. The flavors are crisp and steely with juicy citrus fruit finishing with flint and mineral.

Diplomatico "Reserva Exclusiva" Venezuelan Rum
(Venezuela) An elegant and complex sipping rum carefully crafted from the purest of sugar cane honeys. It is delicately distilled in ancient copper pot stills and aged in small oak casks for up to twelve years. Marrying a unique body with excellent balance has made it a reference for rum lovers and connoisseurs throughout the world. Amber in color, with a complex nose and flavors of maple syrup, orange peel, brown sugar, licorice, and sweet toffee fudge. Seductive and elegant finish.

2017 Michele Chiarlo "Nivole" Moscato d'Asti ~ $20
(Italy) Winemaker's Notes: This sweet, fragrant, lightly sparkling wine has vivid aromas and flavors of peach, apricot, grapefruit and sage on a light body with a delicate finish typical of Moscato d’Asti. An excellent companion to fresh pastries and fruit such as strawberries and peaches.

2014 Margerum "Late Harvest" Sauvignon Blanc ~ $24
(Santa Barbara County) Winemaker's Notes: Nose of juicy fruit, honey and ripe melon. Pleasantly sweet yet not cloying attack of more ripe fruit nicely balanced with rich Meyer lemon acidity in the evolution and long finish. Will age gracefully through 2020 developing nectar-like aromatics and becoming richer and even more honeyed. A well balanced dessert wine that pairs well with fruit salad, custardy desserts like crème brûlée, or salty cheeses.
