Day 3 > Modern Rioja Wines > Intimate private tasting at Viña Real, a CVNE winery • Lunch at Marques de Riscal winery, world-famous for its architecture and hospitality • Barrel tasting at a hidden gem winery in their underground caves, plus a taste of their locally-produced olive oil • Dinner on your own in Haro
Day 4 > Spanish Basque Country > Goodbye La Rioja, hello Basque Country! • Tasting at a winery that specializes in Txakoli, a slightly sparkling wine of the area • Picnic lunch full of local flavors • Check into our seaside hotel for a chance to rest • Dinner of fresh, seasonal cuisine, overlooking the water
Day 5 > French Basque Country > Cross the nearby border into Saint-Jean-de-Luz, France to sample delicious chocolates, breads, macarons, and other epicurean delicacies • Free time to stroll along the waterfront and enjoy a lunch of fresh seafood • Head back to Spain for an incredible Chef's Table experience in San Sebastian
Day 6 > Free Morning > Enjoy a leisurely morning of free time and lunch on your own in the lovely seaside town of Zarautz • Return to Bilbao to bid each other farewell and to either travel onward or depart for home
