Come to the annual "Light Up the Downtown" celebration. Be sure to stop in a Anna & Mom and let Sharine and the Moonlighters take you on a magical musical journey! This delightful trio plays a wide variety of styles, including jazz, folk, rock, and pop, and can stretch from mellow Neil Young ballads to the bluesy rock of Janis Joplin, from Green Day’s poppy punk to Billy Holiday’s classic jazz. It’s like a review of timeless hits, plus a healthy portion of original music that is both upbeat and moody. Feel the room fill with power and emotion from Ron Hagadone’s proficient guitar stylings and wistful voice, Daniel Kieselhorst’s velvety bass lines, and Sharine Borslien’s sultry voice and hauntingly pretty flute melodies.
From the Visit Atascadero site: "The lighting ceremony takes place in the Sunken Gardens in downtown Atascadero. We will kick off the Art & Wine event along with the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. To participate in this portion of the event, the charge is $20/ ticket and includes a wine glass, wine tastings among participating downtown merchants! This event will then be followed by the lighting of our Historic City Hall. Children can enjoy a visit with Santa following the lighting as well as enjoy a complementary tour of Historic City Hall and hot chocolate. This portion of the event is free and everyone is invited to bring their family and friends to enjoy an evening of Holiday fun!"
