Wine Seminar: Discover France’s Rhône Valley
Friday, November 2, from 6:30-8:00, $49
In this session you will be introduced to the wines of Rhône Valley. Guests will explore their most noted appellations from Côte-Rôtie and Condrieu in the North to Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas in the South. You will discover that the wines of the north are significantly different from those of the south. The Rhône is clearly big red wine country so reds will be the focus of this session. Nevertheless, you will also learn about their full-bodied, viscous and aromatic whites. One white wine and five red wines will be tasted and enjoyed with a variety of light appetizers.
Information & Registration
Class size is limited to 12 guests. Kindly arrive 5 - 10 minutes early as the session starts promptly. If you are sensitive to cool temperatures, bring a light sweater as the room is set to 70°F. There is ample parking in the RSF Plaza Shopping Center where Meritage is located.
