Oct 31, 2018, 5-7pm, 20% off All Day
Nick Mucci finds unique, interesting, sustainable, and (more important) exceptional wines from all over Italy. It all started with his family, the Mucci’s, which own a winery in d’Abruzzo, Italy. You’ll taste one of their wines on Wednesday (see pic). Over the past several years Nick and his brother have expanded their portfolio to all over Italy. Stop in and meet Nick, and taste several of his wines…from, in addition to d’Abbruzo, Sicily, Campania and
Cantine Gulino Pretiosa, Albanello, Crisp White, Sicily, Italy, Pear olive and almond notes, with both richness and minerality; nice mouthfeel; coats the tongue pleasantly.
Reale, Costa d'Amalfi Aliseo, Biancolella 50%, Biancazita (Falanghina) 40%, Pepella 10%, Crisp White, Campania, Italy, Y, Aliseo is the name of the wind that brings good weather to the Amalfi. Santo Stefano Montepulciano d'Abruzzo,Bold Red, Abruzzo, Italy, Y, Deep red ruby color, with an aroma of ripe red fruit combined with a hint of spice and vanilla; rich, velvety, with good structure, moderately tannic and balanced.
Pietregiovani, Primativo, Bold Red, Puglia, Italy, Y, Strong, dark, and spicy, but with a balance rarely seen with these wines. The wine spends time in stainless steel, with about 5% of the juice ageing in oak
