Despite the still sizzling summer weather, fall has officially begun at
Lucky’s Market stores throughout Florida. To celebrate the changing season, and showcase
some of Florida’s most popular fall produce and seasonal products, the specialty grocer will
host its annual ‘Fall Into Something Different Harvest Fest’ on Saturday, October 20, from
11 am – 4 pm, at each of its Florida locations. All event activities are free to the public.
All Florida locations are stocking up on everything fall-flavored, including 15 varieties of
apples, several types of squash, berries, pumpkin spice flavored cheeses, fall florals, and
seasonal beer and wine, including an especially ghoulish ‘Trick” (red) or “Treat” (white)
wine.
“We genuinely believe that good food shouldn’t be a luxury, it should be a right,” said Brooke Armstrong, Florida spokesperson for Lucky’s Market. “Some of the year’s most delicious produce and spices are harvested throughout Florida in the fall, and we are so excited to showcase these items in a fun and tasty way during Harvest Fest.”
In addition to the abundance of in-store seasonal specialty items, Lucky’s Market also has published a number of fall recipes on its website, featuring everything from Pumpkin Fudge to Holiday Harvest Salad to a Zombie Apocalypse Cocktail. Some of these prepared items will be featured at Harvest Fest on October 20 and will be available in the prepared foods Kitchen department at the store.
