Join Steve Ledson and his corvettes at Ledson Winery & Vineyards (www.ledson.com) for the 12th Annual Corvettes at the Castle extravaganza, which will be held Saturday, October 6 from 10am-4pm. Corvette enthusiasts can enjoy a lovely afternoon mingling with Steve Ledson and other Corvette lovers among the classic cars lining the circular driveway in front of The Ledson Castle. This occasion is the ideal opportunity to taste award-winning and critically acclaimed wines at one of the intimate tasting salons and learn more about the Ledson family philosophy of winemaking. The fall season is upon us making it a great time to picnic with gourmet food from the Ledson Marketplace under the majestic oak trees at this amazing destination winery.
The Northern California Corvette Association (NCCA) and Ledson Winery will be giving out prizes for this Type 5 car show. The first place prize is a 3L etched bottle of 2015 Ledson Alexander Valley Reserve Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, recently rated 96 points by Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate; second place prize is 1.5L etched bottle of Ledson Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, winner of multiple gold medals; third place prize is a bottle of Ledson Sonoma Valley Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, 95 points and a platinum award winner; and fourth place is a tasting for four highlighting a variety of highly acclaimed wines. There is no cost to attend or to enter your car. Ledson Winery will provide complimentary tastings for each driver and passenger that enters their car into the show.
