Barolo and Nebbiolo Tasting + Seminar with Tom Hyland
Join City Winery and Tom Hyland for an introspective tasting of EIGHT examples of wines from the Nebbiolo grape and the highly regaded wines of Barolo.
We will talk about Nebbiolo in general, and taste examples from various communes in the Barolo zone, to learn about the notion of terroir. These wines are limited in production, and due to the demand that is being generated for this vintage, will be sold out soon. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to taste this many examples of Barolo from the great 2013 vintage.
This course will be at an intermediate level, although, we welcome all levels of wine knowledge and thirst.
Crusty bread will be provided, along with 1.5 oz - 2 oz pours of each of the EIGHT wines and a delightfully effusive Moscato d'Asti as a finishing palate cleanser.
