The Italian Wine Scholar™ is a Major League Italian Wine Studies program for wine trade and enthusiastic wine consumers who adore Italian wiine. Part 1 covers the wines of Piemonte, Liguria, Valle d'Aosta, Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Alto Adige, Trentino, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia. Classes are held on Saturday - October 13, October 20, November 3, November 17, December 1 from 10AM to 1pm with an exam (optional) on December 15. The classes are accompanied by an on-line component and a very thorough manual. Taste 25+ wines during the classes that are typical of each region.
