Let’s take a little journey through Europe via our Lower East Side location to explore the history, culture, prestige and European grape varietals that set the stage for wine production throughout the world. These “Old World” regions have thousands of years of tradition and techniques and styles that are very unique to each country. We’ll take a look at how these qualities frame the overall production of wine and how these regions view the importance of wine.
Certified sommelier and wine educator, Charles Springfield, will be the class instructor. Charles has been teaching wine classes in New York City for the last seven years.
