6:00 p.m.—Wine Tasting in the Cellar
6:30 p.m.—Dinner Seating
Reservations Required by 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22
Join us for a very special dinner evening beginning with a visit to the Tassel Ridge Winery cellar with Winery owner, Bob Wersen, where you will taste wine taken from the barrel that afternoon. Bob will discuss how the wines were made, and then you will be able to taste the difference added aging makes in a wine. Before dinner is served, sample three Iowa Marquette vintages and select your favorite to pair later with your entrée.
Dinner begins with a Spinach Salad with Red Wine Roasted Pears, Feta, Almonds, and Balsamic Vinaigrette paired with Tassel Ridge La Crescent followed by Roasted Petite Shoulder Tender Medallions with an Iowa Marquette Garlic and Shallot Reduction, served with Polenta and Grilled Asparagus and paired with the Tassel Ridge Iowa Marquette vintage of your choice. For dessert, Chef Frank’s Dark Chocolate Dessert will be paired with a Tassel Ridge Finalé Red.
Advance prepaid, non-refundable reservations required by Thursday, March 22. Call the Winery at 641.672.WINE (9463) to make reservations.
