It’s not unusual. We all do it. Only not all of us admit it. So imagine how you would feel, if you were in a room with dozens of others who also dream of pork. It would be like a dream come true wouldn’t it? So many like-minded people gathering to celebrate all things porky. We get shivers just thinking about it.
So this is how it goes.
We order a few pigs from our favourite pig farmer. Our clever chef designs a 5-course menu, using all the piggy plus other seasonal ingredients. He hands that to Bishop Sessa owner, Erez Gordon, who selects a whole bunch of wines to match and we’re away! Our own private porkfest. Mountains of crispy, juicy, tender pork, barrows of smokey bacon, troughs of tasty offaly treats, washed down with a never-ending stream of fermented grapes crushed by divine and dainty feet.
