About Artesa
Over 25 years ago, Spain’s oldest winemaking family ventured to a new world: a sea-facing hillside in the Napa Valley, with rocky soils and a favorable coastal climate.
It was here in Carneros that they planted new roots, building upon a 460-year winemaking legacy to create the next generation of estate-grown, artisan wines.
Ana Diogo Draper
The Artesa Estate Vineyard & Winery winemaking team is led by Ana Diogo-Draper, Director of Winemaking. Born and raised in Portugal, Ana brings an international perspective. Guided by her European education and influence, her low intervention approach to winemaking allows the fruit to fulfill its truest expression. She holds a B.A. in Agriculture Engineering from the University of Évora and is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
ORTZI
Inspired by the flavors of the mountainous coastal region that blurs the lines of demarcation between Spain and France and the vibrancy of the Basque culture. Ortzi is a restaurant and wine bar that provides LUMA Hotel guests with an alluring and intimate experience centered around Chef Jose Garces’ vision of Basque dishes.
