Not made from grapes at all, this fermented honey beverage is a delightful alternative to wines, ciders, beer and has a fascinating history and folkloric appeal that involves Vikings and Pagan rituals. We will taste samples from Chinook Arch Meadery, Grey Owl, Fallen Timber flavoured with various infusions of spices, flowers, fruits and herbs. As Mead is ofen referred to as "Nectar of the Gods" and drank during seasonal celebrations of nature, it's only fitting that we enjoy welcoming the Spring Solstice with a Mead Tasting!
