Educational     Light Appetizers      Tasting (sit down)     Wine

Lauded for their dark, spicy, tannic richness, wines from the Rhône valley are full of character. And as it turns out, varietals from this region flourish in California's Santa Barbara County. In this special tasting, you'll discover 6 bottlings from Kunin Wines, one of the pioneers of SoCal winemaking. The first 5 in the lineup are single-varietal bottlings made with each of the 5 grapes that are commonly blended into Côtes du Rhône and its more age-worthy cousin, Châteauneuf-du-Pâpe (Grenache, Syrah, Mouvèdre, Cinsault, and Carignan); the last is Kunin's blend of all 5 grapes, which we'll taste alongside a true Châteauneuf-du-Pâpe. Whether you already love the Rhône valley or are looking to learn more about it, this is a fantastic class that will truly showcase the art of blending and how it makes wines from this region so memorable.

In addition to the wines, your ticket includes a small antipasti plate with cheese, crackers, and charcuterie. We’ll see you in class!
