You will definitely want to add this event to your Summer calendar. We had such a great time last year at Mory's, that wonderful bastion of Yale tradition, that we have scheduled a sequel.
Our focus will be 6/8 sauvignon blancs from different areas of the world and at the very end, we'll reveal their identities.
Is that grassy, herbaceous wine from New Zealand? Or that creamy, rich, full-bodied wine has to be Sancerre- or is it? That's the fun of a blind tasting.
And look at this wonderful menu that Mory's chef has prepared for us:
Seared Octopus, white beans, celery, garlic and parsley, alfonso olive purée and paprika oil
Arugula & endive salad with white grape vinaigrette, goat cheese, strawberries, mango and toasted walnuts
Sliced Cumin seared tuna (served medium rare), aged Balsamic vinegar, califlower purée & haricots verts tossed with orzo
Sauvignon blanc tossed Summer berries with whipped cream
