Hit the Creston Wine Trail for a weekend of wine and olive oil tasting, food pairings, and music for the price of a single passport. Your hosts for the weekend are August Ridge, B&E Vineyard, Chateau Margene, Olivas de Oro, Shadow Run, Still Waters Vineyard and Stanger Vineyards. 

Kick off is June 11-12. Each location will feature food and wine or olive oil pairings and entertainment in a casual hospitable environment. Meet the winemakers and owners and see what special treats they’ve planned. You can get your passport stamp and completed until June 26. Turn in your passport to get enter to win a basket including CWT wines and olive oils.

Get your passport stamped by visiting each location and enter the drawing to be one of the six winners of wine and olive oil from each trail member.  Passports for the entire weekend are only $30.

Here's a "taste" of what we are planning:

August Ridge

Enjoy a local and imported Cheese and Charcuterie spread at August ridge along with their CalItal wines. Barrel tasting, Library wines and case specials available all weekend. 

B & E

Relax with appetizers and live local music from 12-3 on Saturday and Sunday. Sample released wine and barrel tastings with Patti. Case specials all weekend long!

Chateau Margene

Vivant Cheese and Marich Chocolates to compliment the wines. Flights of El Pistolero Chardonnay, Mooney Family Pinot Noir and Chateau Margene Cabernet Sauvignon. And for something really special taste of their 2013 Reserve Cabernet. Local live music from 1-4 on Saturday. Passport holders will be offered a 10% discount on all wine purchases.

Olivas de Oro

Chill out with Olivas de Oro on the Creston Wine Trail Passport weekend! Sample our award winning olive oils and vinegars. We know it will be hot, but you don't have to be. We'll be serving two of our cool gazpacho soups and our Citrus Pacific Spice Vinegar Shrub Popsicle. On Saturday from 12-3 enjoy a cool collection of tunes by Two For The Road. Mill tours daily at 1:30 and special buy 6 olive oils or vinegars and get 1 free. Join us for a ranch-style Italian dinner on Saturday night featuring our products and the Creston Wine Trail wines. Save $10 with your Passport purchase on dinner and advance reservations are required.

Shadow Run

Choose from Pulled Pork or Smoked Brisket on Brioche Rolls. Sample wine and cheese pairings all weekend. Enjoy wine and cheese pairings all weekend. Take advantage of a super special on Sunday only with 20% off 6 or more bottles.


Enjoy “HOME RUN INN” pizza from Chicagoland’s premier pizza maker with the winemaker from Stanger. I’m sure you’ll want some wine with that! Then take home a magnum. Buy one and get one free while they last. Anyone who has the “Stanger Vineyards” app on their iPhone or iPad will receive a special gift. Make is more unique by having it signed by Roger. Stanger will stay open until sunset on Sunday, so come by and enjoy the view.

Still Waters

Join in the fun at Still Waters Vineyards for the Creston Wine Trail Passport Weekend.  We’ll start you off on Friday afternoon with complementary tastes of some of our favorite Library Wines paired with our yummy homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies.  Enjoy our beautiful grounds as you picnic by the pond and take in our amazing views.   Swing by on Saturday for appetizers and winery tours with owner/winemaker, Paul Hoover.   On Sunday,  join us in the lovely shade of our 130 year old olive grove for a concert by everyone’s favorite - Soul Sauce.  Music goes from 1 – 4 and food and wine are available for purchase throughout.  It always makes for a truly Picture Perfect Sunday.  In honor of our band, we will be offering Red, White and BLUES case specials all weekend.
