No dipping allowed at Taboon's 1st Annual Hummus Festival, which will celebrate the delicious versatility of the Middle Eastern staple with a special menu of 12 different hummus inspired dishes, including two desserts.  All resonate with Executive Chef Efi Nahon's expertise with and personal passion for hummus as he employs ingredients not normally associated with the dish – the likes of charred octopus, spicy tomato salsa, short ribs, Port, mashed lamb kebab, poached egg, braised lamb neck, root beer and crispy avocado - to create mouthwatering stand-alone (no bread necessary) appetizers, for-the-table-starters and entrees, as well as the desserts. Most anything BUT a dip!  The festival menu will be available nightly in addition to Taboon's regular menu and will be priced at $12 to $30, with half portion options at commensurate prices to encourage maximum hummus exploration.
