Unfortunately tickets sales have not met our expectations and we have cancelled the Aug. 12, 2012 Wine & Wishes event at this time. We are currently looking into a date in Spring 2013 and will repost the event when we have the details


The biggest event of the summer for Ventura Wine Company - Wine & Wishes 2012. This will be the third year we have aligned with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties to raise money and support such a great cause. Join us on Sunday Aug. 12, 2012 at The Cave to enjoy well over 100 of our favorite wines and delicious appetizers provided by The Cave's culinary team lead by Executive Chef Gary Daniel. Live Entertainment and lots of fun are sure to be had by everyone attending. Tickets are $60 per person in advance, and $65 per person at the door. $30 from every ticket purchased will be donated directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties. The event is limited to adults only (no babies or children, sorry). It will be held outside behind The Cave so please dress accordingly. Ticket price includes unlimited wine tasting, a sampling of food from The Cave, a keepsake logo wine glass and tote bag, live entertainment and a $30 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties!


In addition to the tasting we will be hosting a silent auction. All auction proceeds will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties and we are hoping to raise a lot of money. The past two years we have been able to donate over $10,000 and we need your help and participation to make this year's donation the biggest and best yet!! Auction items will include exclusive winery tours and tastings, limited release wines, and even a 36 bottle wine rack filled with wine!**


Tickets will be pre-sold for this event and can be purchased either in store at Ventura Wine Company or by calling us at (805) 642-9449. The event will be limited to 300 people. The tasting will start promptly at 2pm and continue until 4:30pm. The silent auction will take place from 2-4pm. At 4:30pm we will have our final tally of ticket sales and auction revenue and we will present The Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Tri-Counties with a large check and thank you all for your support. The Ventura Wine Company retail store will remain open until 5pm for all of your shopping needs, as the wines we will be featuring for the event will also be available for purchase.
