Cuvaison Estate (California)

Founded in 1969, Cuvaison is one of the pioneering wineries that helped shape the modern era of Napa Valley winemaking. As an independent, family-owned winery for nearly five decades, Cuvaison is dedicated to crafting exceptional wines from their acclaimed estate in the Los Carneros region of Napa Valley.

Marchesi Di Barolo (Italy)

The Marchesi di Barolo estate encompasses approximately 430 acres of vineyards in the Langhe, some of the finest in Piedmont, including the prestigious Cannubi cru. The cellars are located in the village of Barolo. Today, Marchesi di Barolo remains a family business. Since 2006, the estate has been under the direction of Pietro’s great-grandson and fifth-generation winemaker, Ernesto Abbona and his wife Anna, who have inherited a longstanding winemaking tradition and a love of the vineyards and its wines.

Domaine Tariquet (France)

Domaine Tariquet is located in Gascony, in Southwest France. This estate of 1,125 hectares has been family-owned by the Grassa since 1912 (5 generations). As “Propriétaire-Récoltant” (wine grower), all the wines and Bas-Armagnacs are produced exclusively from the family’s vineyards and are estate bottled. Situated in the heart of Gascony, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees Mountains, Domaine Tariquet benefits from the mild influence of an oceanic climate. A strong temperature amplitude between summer days and nights produces ripe grapes with thick skins full of freshness and fruit. A mosaic of soils with clay-limestone and “boulbène”(silica, clay, sand) enhanced by ochre-colored sand known as “sables fauves”, deep and draining, perfect for white varietals.

Nino Negri (Italy)

Established in 1897, Nino Negri is the premier estate producing wine in the Valtellina DOCG in Italy’s Lombardy region. The estate specialty is Sfursat (“strained” or “forced”); a wine made from grapes harvested by trained pickers and dried for 100 days in the cool, dry, alpine air. This winemaking style combines the opulence of Amarone with the elegant complexity of Barolo. The success of Nino Negri is due largely to the efforts of winemaker Casimiro Maule who has worked at the estate since 1971, his entire professional life. In 2007, Casimiro was named “Winemaker of the Year” by Gambero Rosso, the magazine authority in Italian wine.
