James set up and ran Europe’s only Californian wine merchant for 18 years before setting up his own company. Working with only small, family-owned producers from Northern California responsible for some of the state’s best wines from world class sites. Eight wines will be opened from areas such as Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino and Monterey. A diverse range of wines will be tasted, from California’s finest fizz Schramsberg – the house pour at The White House and US Embassy London – through Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and California’s “heritage grape” Zinfandel.
