On March 13, 2020, from 6:30-10:00 pm, Alliance for Independence will present the 13th Annual Wine Festival of Central Florida, presented by Publix Super Markets Charities and benefiting Alliance for Independence. Enjoy a fabulous evening under the stars on the beautiful Frances Langford Promenade at Lake Mirror. This premier event features over 150 wines, spirits, craft beers, and samplings from some of Polk Countys best chefs, caterers, and restaurants. Returning to the Wine Festival this year is our Wall of Wine Drawing. A suggested donation of $20 enters you to win a collection of wines donated by our wine festival vendors. Information on the drawing can be found at www.winefestcfl.com. All net proceeds from this event benefit Alliance for Independence, a community organization serving adults with developmental disabilities.
The guest entrance will be located on the west side of the Promenade between Hollis Gardens and the Lakeland Electric Building. Ample free parking is available in the parking garage adjacent to Lakeland Electric located on Orange Avenue, at the Magnolia Building, or at the Lake Mirror Civic Center. Valet parking provided for event sponsors at the Magnolia Building.
Alliance for Independence is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides services to adults with developmental disabilities and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. For 66 years, Alliance for Independence has provided individuals with the awareness, education, community resources, and personal relationships necessary to achieve independence.
